Lofoten travelphotography Norway

This picture is taken on one of the Lofoten islands – Vestvagoy. The Lofoten are, even on cold and rainy days, magical.
These islands high up in the north of Norway are choosen to be one of the most scenic places in Europe. Mountains rise up, directly from the sea, rugged fjords give shelter to little villages. In summer you can enjoy the midnightsun and in winter the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) give away beautifull shows.

In autumn the days get shorter quickly, but the colours of the mountains, amazing skies and if you are lucky, even the northern lights make it an amazing place to visit.
